721. Any employee transferred to the Autorité des marchés financiers pursuant to section 719 or 720 may request a transfer to a position in the public service or take part in a promotion selection process for such a position in accordance with the Public Service Act (chapter F-3.1.1) if, at the date of the transfer to the Authority, the employee was a permanent public servant assigned to the Inspector General of Financial Institutions or the Régie de l’assurance-dépôts du Québec.

Any employee transferred to the Agence nationale d’encadrement du secteur financier pursuant to section 719 or 720 may request a transfer to a position in the public service or take part in a promotion competition for such a position in accordance with the Public Service Act (chapter F-3.1.1) if, at the date of the transfer to the Agency, the employee was a permanent public servant assigned to the Inspector General of Financial Institutions or the Régie de l’assurance-dépôts du Québec.

Section 35 of the Public Service Act applies to an employee who takes part in such a promotion competition.
